A contemporary take on the traditional Irish gate lodge, this compact home sits at the entrance to Beechville Estate, connecting a young farming family with their roots. Inspired by local lodge forms and their simple pyramidal roofs, the design balances the practicalities of rural life with the family’s love of art and music. Layered internal spaces, natural light, and thoughtful proportions create a home that feels both grounded and uplifting — a modern rural retreat shaped by heritage, creativity, and connection.
